NetScaler Web App Firewall (WAF) announces signature updates that can be downloaded and applied on an appliance. When detecting a security attack, an email notification about the new signature update will be sent to the relevant personnel.

How to receive signature alert notification

This article explains how to subscribe to RSS feeds to receive notifications for new signature updates. Once subscribed, you receive regular RSS feeds whenever new signatures are available for download.

NOTE:

• To get updates about Web App Firewall signatures, you must configure the signature auto-update feature. For more information, see Signature Auto Update topic.
• To get updates about new bot signatures, you must configure the bot signature auto-update feature. For more information, see Bot Signature Auto Update topic.

To subscribe to RSS feeds for new signature updates, follow the steps given below:

1. Open the Signature alert article document history topic on a web browser.
2. On the top right of the page, click the RSS button and copy the RSS feed URL.
3. Add the copied RSS feed URL to a desired RSS feed reader.
