Designed for large-scale deployment Enterprise customers or customers who manage multiple Citrix DaaS sites

Often manage deployments that span continents, incorporate various deployment models, and utilize different access methods, all while prioritizing security and delivering a seamless end-user experience. This complexity can present significant challenges. Citrix DaaS multi-site management is specifically designed to address these issues in large-scale deployments.

Previously, administrators and support personnel overseeing multiple Citrix DaaS sites had to navigate between different Citrix Cloud accounts, resulting in excessive clicks and inefficient workflows. However, with the introduction of this new feature, it is now possible to connect sites in a hub-and-spoke model, allowing administrators to manage their Citrix DaaS sites centrally and with greater ease.

Key benefits

With the recent enhancements, this feature now offers several advantages that significantly improve operational efficiency across various domains:

  • Streamlined Site Management: Administrators can manage multiple sites from a single interface, effortlessly switching between them via the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the Studio and Monitor.
  • Effortless Navigation: Admins can transition seamlessly between Studio and Monitor without the need to reselect the site. When a site is selected in Studio, it is automatically reflected in Monitor, and vice versa, thereby optimizing workflow.
  • Enhanced Help Desk Operations: Administrators can access and search for information across all sites using a unified Monitor console.
  • Consolidated End-User Resources: End users can log in to a single Citrix Workspace URL (e.g., primarysite.cloud.com) to access their applications and desktops from any connected site.

Typical use cases

  • Efficient site administration: Simplify administration for organizations with multiple Citrix DaaS sites, such as Development, User Acceptance Testing, and Production.
  • Mergers and acquisitions: Manage complex domain structures resulting from acquisitions without resource enumeration or access issues.
  • End-user resource aggregation: Enable users to access apps and desktops from multiple sites through a single Citrix Workspace URL.

 Citrix offers two operational modes:

  • UI Administration Only: This mode permits the management of an unlimited number of sites.
  • UI Administration with End-User Resource Aggregation: This mode combines both functionalities.

It is essential to remember that Citrix advises limiting the addition of secondary sites for end-user aggregation to a maximum of four to avoid potential scalability challenges.
