CITRIX DaaS PROVIDES CENTRALIZED SITE MANAGEMENT, ENABLING ACCESS TO ALL ESSENTIALS FROM A SINGLE LOCATION.

Citrix, has recognized, as an industry leader, in providing enterprise-grade application delivery infrastructure. "Enterprise-grade" signifies their commitment to developing products that offer extensive configurability and scalability. This ensures that administrators can effortlessly oversee their systems across various locations. Managing enterprise deployments is a complex challenge, especially when they extend over continents, encompass diverse deployment models, and utilize various access methods, all while upholding stringent security standards and ensuring a smooth experience for the end user. This complexity is a testament to the robustness of Citrix solutions.

The newest public tech preview, DaaS Centralized Site Management, caters specifically to the needs of enterprise administrators. In the past, managing multiple Citrix Cloud tenants required admins and support staff to switch between accounts for routine tasks, leading to extra clicks and longer workflow times. To streamline this process, we've introduced centralized site management. This feature enables the connection of your sites in a hub-and-spoke model, supporting up to four secondary sites, thus allowing for centralized management of your DaaS sites.

Improved admin experience

Linking multiple DaaS sites is straightforward: simply select 'Add' under 'Centralize site management' and then choose the sites you wish to include.

Once all the sites are connected, a drop-down menu displaying all the aggregated sites will become available.

The primary will be tagged, as shown below:

This drop down is available within Citrix Studio, to enable administrators to switch natively between sites without having to change accounts. No more context switching, no more wasting time clicking between consoles. Studio for every site, through the centralized site management with quick switch capabilities. All administrators will have the ability to access the centralized sites, based on their account permissions.

Centralizing sites greatly benefits help desk personnel too. This functionality allows support staff to utilize a unified Monitor console equipped with a universal search feature. All essential user information is accessible from a single console, simplifying the management of help desk tickets within Citrix Cloud.

Unified end user access

The discussion has highlighted the perks for administrators, yet end users also reap considerable advantages. Aggregation eases administration and streamlines resource access for the user. Previously, users with permissions across different DaaS tenants had to manage several Workspace URLs to initiate vital applications. The advent of site aggregation now allows access to all resources via one Workspace URL linked to the main site, obviating the need to recall numerous URLs or resource locations. It serves as a unified portal, delivering all necessary tools, thus serving the interests of both end users and administrators.
